Plush Tiger Cub

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush tiger. For this amigurumi project, any plush yarn will work: Himalaya Dolphin Velvet, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others.

The finished toy size with Himalaya Dolphin Velvet is about 15-16 cm. With Himalaya Dolphin Baby, about 17-18 cm.

Materials and Tools

• Himalaya Dolphin Velvet yarn: orange
• YarnArt Velour yarn: white (for the muzzle)
• YarnArt Jeans yarn: black (for embroidery)
• 3 mm crochet hook
• 12 mm safety eyes
• 14 mm safety nose
• Toy stuffing
• Needle
• Scissors

Amigurumi Plush Tiger Cub Crochet Pattern

Arms (2 pieces)

1. 6 sc in MR
2-6. 6 sc (5 rounds)

Fold the arm in half and crochet 3 sc through both sides. Do not stuff.

Legs (2 pieces)

1. 7 sc in MR
2-5. 7 sc (4 rounds)

Slip stitch. On the second leg, do not cut the yarn, continue with the body:

Chain 2, join the second leg.

6. 7 sc on one leg, 2 inc in the chain stitches, 7 sc on the second leg, 2 inc in the chain stitches (22)
Place a marker. Add stuffing.
7-9. 22 sc for 3 rounds
10. 4 sc, dec, 9 sc, dec, 5 sc (20)
11. (3 sc, dec) x 4 times (16)
12. (2 sc, dec) x 4 times (12)
Add stuffing.
13. 12 sc
14. Crochet in the arms: 2 sc, 3 sc together with one arm, 3 sc, 3 sc together with the second arm, 1 sc (12)

Make sure the arms are on the sides; if needed, shift by 1 stitch.

15. 2 sc, dec, 4 sc, dec, 2 sc (10)
Add stuffing. Continue with the head:

18-20. 24 sc for 3 rounds
21. (4 sc, dec) x 4 times (20)

Insert the eyes between rounds 19 and 20, with 4-5 stitches between them. Add stuffing.

Pull the opening closed.

Change to orange yarn

Leave a tail for sewing the ear.
