Plush Kitties

Free crochet tutorial for Plush Kitties by Ekaterina Pavlova @mkigrushky.

With this pattern, you can crochet plush kittens. For this amigurumi project, you will need Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn (or a similar yarn). You can combine any two colors: the main color for the cat and a color for the spots.

The finished kitty toy measures about 27 cm. Yarn consumption is about 1 skein.

• Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn: 1 skein in beige and a small amount of the same yarn in brown
• 4 mm crochet hook

Start crocheting with beige yarn.

Pull the opening closed, cut the yarn, and hide the end.

Ears

Do not stuff. Fold the ear in half and crochet 5 sc through both layers.

Assembly

• Sew the ears between rounds 28 and 31.
• Sew the arms to round 18, as shown in the photo.
• Sew the legs at the level of round 4.
• Sew the tail at the level of round 7.
• Cut eyes from black felt, 8 mm in diameter.
• Glue them at the level of round 25.
• Embroider the mouth and whiskers.
