Amigurumi plush giraffe crochet

Free Plush Giraffe crochet tutorial by @mamina_zayka_plush.

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush giraffe. Any plush yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project. The muzzle and spots can be crocheted with Alize Softy fluffy yarn.

Finished toy size is about 24-25 cm.

Materials and Tools

  • Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn or YarnArt Jeans
  • Alize Softy fluffy yarn (for the muzzle)
  • 4.5-5.0 mm crochet hook
  • Toy stuffing
  • Black thread for embroidering the eyebrows and nostrils
  • 12 mm safety eyes
  • Needle for sewing pieces together
  • Scissors

Insert 12 mm safety eyes between rounds 2 and 3, spaced 3-4 ch apart, then stuff the head with fiberfill.

Tighten the opening, or continue making decreases.

I crocheted the toy's muzzle with Alize Softy yarn, but you can use plush yarn; choose the size you prefer.

Embroider the eyebrows and nostrils with black thread.

Crochet the tail from chain stitches and sew it to the body.
