Amigurumi Little Elephant crochet

Free Little Elephant crochet tutorial by Anastasia Konovalova.

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush elephant. Any plush yarn works for amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others. Yarn usage is about half a skein.

Finished toy size is about 15-17 cm.

Materials and Tools

  • Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (for the elephant)
  • Cotton yarn Vita Cotton Coco (for the eyes)
  • 4.0-4.5 mm crochet hook
  • Synthetic poly filling
  • Decorative ribbon
  • Needle for embroidering parts
  • Scissors

Toy Assembly

  • Sew on the head.
  • Shape the ears and sew them to the head.
  • Sew on the tail.
  • Sew the black eyes to the head.
  • Then add highlights with white yarn; you can also make a blue stitch under the eye.
