In this round, crochet the lower legs into the body. Decide where the bunny's sides will be; the legs should be placed opposite each other. When you reach the place where you need to attach a leg, insert the hook first into a stitch on the leg, then into a stitch on the body, pull up the yarn, and work it like a regular single crochet. Crochet all 6 stitches of the leg together with the body stitches this way. Then crochet along the body (belly), fold it in half, and mark the spot for the second leg. Repeat the same steps.
10: 42 sc
11: 42 sc
In this round, crochet the tail into the body. Place it approximately at the center of the back, between the back legs. Attach it the same way as the legs: crochet 3 stitches of the tail together with the body.
12: 42 sc
13: (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
14: 36 sc (36)
15: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
16: 30 sc (30)
17: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
18: 24 sc (24)
19: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
20: 18 sc
In this round, crochet the upper paws into the body. They should also be placed opposite each other. Use the lower legs as a guide: the upper paws should line up vertically with the lower ones. When you reach the place where you need to attach a paw, insert the hook first into a stitch on the paw, then into a stitch on the body, pull up the yarn, and work it like a regular single crochet. Crochet all 6 stitches of the paw together with the body stitches this way. Then crochet along the body (chest), fold it in half, and mark the spot for the second paw, again checking the vertical line with the lower leg. Repeat the same steps.
21: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Head
Continue crocheting, and remember to stuff the toy as you go.
22: 12 inc (24)
23: (1 sc, inc) x 12 (36)
24: (5 sc, inc) x 6 (42)
25-30: 42 sc (6 rnds) (42)
Insert the eyes between rounds 29 and 30. Find the center of the muzzle; the distance between the eyes is 4-5 stitches.
31: (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
32: 36 sc (36)
33: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
34: 30 sc (30)
35: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
36: 24 sc
Crochet the ears in. Use the same method as for the paws. Check that the ears line up vertically with the paws. Crochet 5 stitches of each ear together with the head.
37: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
38: 18 sc (18)
39: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Cut the yarn, close the opening, and weave in the end.

Toy Assembly
After the toy is crocheted, shape the muzzle. First, make the eye indentation. You will need a long needle and strong thread. Insert the needle at the center of the bottom of the head (approximately between rounds 22 and 23), and bring it out near the outer side of one eye. Leave a thread tail at the bottom that you will use for tightening. Insert the needle from the opposite side of the same eye and bring it out at the bottom of the muzzle. Repeat the first step. When the needle is near the eye, gently and carefully pull both the thread tail at the bottom and the needle, adjusting the crochet with your hands to form the indentation. Repeat once more so the indentation holds. Do the same on the second eye.
Once you are happy with the indentation, bring the needle out at the bottom of the muzzle and tie a knot with the thread tail. Hide the thread inside the crochet.
Then embroider the nose with black yarn and make a small line from the nose down the muzzle. Embroider the eyebrows. Hide the thread inside the crochet.
Make an indentation on the belly for the belly button. Insert the needle under the tail, bring it out at the center of the belly, and go back. Then bring it out at the center of the belly again, tighten, and return to the back under the tail. Tie a knot and hide the thread inside the crochet.
