Body
Choose and change colors as you like. I will label them as Color 1 and Color 2. I will call the glitter yarn Christmas. Start with Color 1:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: (inc) x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (inc) x 12 (24)
Rnd 4: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
Rnd 5: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
Rnd 6: (5 sc, inc) x 6 (42)
Rnd 7: (6 sc, inc) x 6 (48)
Rnd 8: (7 sc, inc) x 6 (54)
Rnd 9-20: crochet 54 sc
Rnd 9-10: Color 2
Rnd 11-13: Christmas
Rnd 14-15: Color 2
Rnd 16-17: Color 1 (in round 16, crochet wings into the front loops only)
Rnd 18-19: Christmas
Rnd 20 and to the end: Color 1

Wings (2 pieces)
In the 1st front loop: 2 sc, 1 hdc,
In the 2nd front loop: dc, 2 tr, dc,
In the 3rd front loop: 1 hdc, 2 sc,
Then 24 sc and the second wing:
In the 28th front loop: 2 sc, 1 hdc,
In the 29th front loop: dc, 2 tr, dc,
In the 30th front loop: 1 hdc, 2 sc,
And 24 more sc.
In round 17, crochet the sc stitches above the wings into the back loops only. Total: 54 sc in the round.
Rnd 21: (7 sc, dec) x 6 (48)
Rnd 22: 48 sc
Rnd 23: (6 sc, dec) x 6 (42)
Rnd 24: 42 sc
Rnd 25: (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
Rnd 26: 36 sc
Rnd 27: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
Rnd 28: 30 sc
Stuff the piece. Then close it by folding it in half and crocheting 15 sc through both layers.
Ears
I either attach "feather ears" as tassels or crochet them: make 3 chains of 10 chain stitches and close them into rings in the first and last stitches of the round.
Eyes (2 pieces)
Most often, I crochet them in white. You can use any other color.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: (inc) x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: 18 sc (Christmas)
I glue the eyes and beak with a hot glue gun. You can also sew or embroider them. You can sew or glue bows, flowers, beads, etc. onto the ears.
