Monkey

Free crochet tutorial for a monkey by @aquariwool.
With this pattern, you can crochet an amigurumi monkey. For this amigurumi project, any cotton blend yarn will work well: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others. The toy is crocheted, while the scarf is knitted.
Materials and Tools
- Yarn (A) white: YarnArt Jeans 03 (50 g, 160 m)
- Yarn (B) brown: YarnArt Jeans 70 (50 g, 160 m)
- Yarn (C) red: YarnArt Jeans 51 (50 g, 160 m)
- 2-2.5 mm crochet hook
- 3.5-4 mm knitting needles
- 1 wooden button
- 1 pair of 10 mm safety eyes

Crochet Amigurumi Monkey Pattern

Legs (with color A, make 2 pieces)
Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Round 2: (sc, inc) x 3 (9)
Round 3: (2 sc, inc) x 3 (12)
Round 4: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)
Fasten off. Make the second leg, but this time do not cut the yarn. Join the legs together as follows: 15 sc (in leg 1) + 15 sc (in leg 2) = 30. Then continue to the body.
Body (with color B)

Crochet sc evenly along the edge of the hat. Leave a long tail for sewing.

Scarf (with color C, this part is knitted)
Row 1: Cast on 6 stitches (6)
Row 2: 6 knit stitches (6)
Row 3: 6 purl stitches (6)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until the scarf is 14 cm long. Then bind off, leaving a tail for sewing. Use a needle to sew the wooden button onto the scarf.
