Amigurumi Mr. Toasty crochet pattern

With this pattern, you can crochet a slice of bread. A crocheted toast keychain, a little bread slice with eyes. For this amigurumi, any cotton blend yarn and a suitable hook will work.

The toy is worked in turning rows; make one turning chain at the end of each row. The front and back panels (crumb) are worked the same way, while the side parts (crust) are slightly different.

Finished toy size is about 8 cm.

Mr. Toasty amigurumi crochet pattern

The front and back pieces are worked the same way. Make 2 pieces. Work with beige yarn. Chain 15 and work from the 2nd chain from the hook:

1-12. ch, 14 sc (1) (12 rows)
15. ch, inc, 12, inc (16)
14. ch, 16 sc (16)
15. ch, inc, 14, inc (18)
16. ch, 18 sc (18)
17. ch, inc, 16, inc (20)
18. ch, 20 sc (20)
19. ch, dec, 16, dec (18)
20. ch, 18 sc (18)
21. ch, dec, 14, dec (16)
22. ch, 16 sc (16)

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Place the eyes on one piece between rows 12 and 15. The distance between the eye posts is 7 sc.

Work with brown yarn.

Side pieces (2 pieces)

Chain 4. Work from the 2nd chain from the hook:

1-22. ch, 3 sc (5) (22 rows)

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Top piece

Chain 4. Work from the 2nd chain from the hook:

1-16. ch, 3 sc (5) (16 rows)

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Bottom piece

Chain 4. Work from the 2nd chain from the hook:

1-4. ch, 3 sc (5) (14 rows)

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Toy assembly

Now join all the pieces.

Take one beige piece (right side facing you) and place a brown side piece against it. Crochet around with brown yarn, working single crochets into each stitch.

The side part equals 22 sc. Next, without cutting the yarn, take the bottom piece and crochet around it the same way, working 14 sc in total. Then the second side is another 22 sc, and the top piece is 16 sc. Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Sew closed the resulting gaps on the brown pieces from the wrong side.

Now take the second beige piece. Place it right side facing you. Attach brown yarn and crochet the pieces together with sc in each stitch, the same way as the first side. At the end, fasten off and cut the yarn. Stuff Toasty as you sew.
