Mini Tiger Cub

Free mini tiger cub crochet tutorial by Yulia Maltseva @mimishki.igrushki.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small tiger cub using YarnArt Jeans yarn or a similar alternative. All parts are crocheted separately and sewn on.
The finished toy measures 5 cm.
Materials and Tools
- YarnArt Jeans: orange, white
- Black Iris thread or embroidery floss
- 2 mm crochet hook
- 3-4 mm safety eyes
- Synthetic poly filling
- Needle for sewing parts together
- Scissors

Ear (2 pieces)
Crochet in orange:
Round 1. 7 sc in MR (7)
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Next, take black Iris thread or embroidery floss. Step back 1 sc from the edge of the ear, attach the black thread, crochet 5 sc through the stitches of the main ear piece, then make a sl st, fasten off, and cut the thread.
Muzzle
Crochet in white:
Round 1. 8 sc in MR (8)

Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Arm (2 pieces)
Round 1. 5 sc in MR (5)

Fold in half and crochet 2 sc through both layers. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Leg (2 pieces)

Finishing

- Sew the head to the body.
- Sew the arms to the body close to the head, and sew the legs between rounds 4 and 5. You can also tack the legs to the sides so they do not stick out.
- Sew the muzzle and ears to the head. Then sew on or insert the eyes. If you sew on the eyes, as I do, make the eye indentations at the same time, meaning pull the thread tight while sewing them on. Repeat these steps 2-3 times, then tie the remaining ends into 2-3 knots and hide the threads.
- Embroider the whites of the eyes, the eyebrows, and the stripes on the body and head.
- Crochet the tail. Attach orange yarn to the back of the body, crochet 6 ch, then work 5 sl st along this chain, fasten off, and hide the yarn tail.
