Crochet amigurumi mini owl

Using this pattern, you can crochet a tiny owl. For this amigurumi project, you will need acrylic or fluffy yarn. Once the toy is finished, brush it with a hook-and-loop fastener or slicker brush. The entire toy is crocheted in one piece. The beak and feet are embroidered.

The finished owl is about 4–5 cm tall.

Crochet Mini Owl Amigurumi Pattern

Let's begin crocheting.

1. Ch 7, starting in the second ch from the hook: inc, 4 sc, 4 sc in the last ch, 4 sc along the other side of the chain, inc = 16 sc
2. (3 sc, inc) x 4 = 20 sc
3. inc, 8 sc, 2 inc, 8 sc, inc = 24 sc
4. 17 sc, tail (ch 3, sl st into the base), 7 sc = 24 sc. Make sure the tail is centered.
5. 24 sc
6. 2 sc, wing (ch 3, starting in the second ch from the hook: sc, hdc, hdc into the base), 10 sc, wing, 12 sc = 24 sc
7. (2 sc, dec) x 6 = 18 sc
8-9. 18 sc
10. Work sc around, making one decrease on each side = 16 sc
11. 2 sc, ear tuft (ch 3, sl st into the base), then work 7 sl st through both loops, ear tuft. Fasten off and cut the yarn. Make sure the ear tufts are positioned on the sides!
