Mini Crab

Free Mini Crab crochet tutorial by Alina Yanchenkova @yanchik_toys.

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush little crab. To make this amigurumi toy, you will need plush yarn of your choice, such as Himalaya Dolphin Baby or LaVita Velur. You will use about one quarter of one skein. The whole toy is crocheted as one piece, with the limbs worked in as you go.

Materials and Tools

• Himalaya Dolphin Baby or LaVita Velur yarn (about 1/4 skein)
• Black YarnArt Jeans yarn for embroidering the mouth
• 3.5 mm or 4 mm crochet hook
• 8 mm safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Stitch markers
• Pins
• Needle for sewing on pieces
• Scissors

CLAW: 9 ch, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook: 3 sc, 3 ch; starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, 2 sc, then 5 sc along the main chain.

LEGS: 6 ch, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, 5 sc.

Insert the eyes between rounds 5 and 6, with 3 sc between them.
