Kiki the Little Witch

Free crochet tutorial for Kiki the Little Witch by @kr.amigurumi.
Using this pattern, you can crochet the witch doll Kiki from the anime Kiki's Delivery Service. Any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project.
Materials and tools
- Yarn: beige, red, orange, coffee, blue/lead (depending on the dress), black and white for the eyes
- Crochet hook
- 8 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Soft pastels or blush
- Wire
- Glue
- Needle for sewing parts

Kiki the Witch amigurumi crochet pattern
Legs (2 pieces)
Cut the yarn on the first leg. Do not cut the yarn on the second leg so you can join the legs and crochet the body.
Start with orange yarn and a 2 mm hook.
Round 1. 5 sc in MR (5)
Round 2. 5 inc (10)

Round 4. 15 sc in back loops only (15)

Switch to beige yarn.
Round 6. In back loops only: 5 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc (13)

Stuff the leg. Join the legs:

The hdc stitches should be at the shoulder area. Now, if you have wire, insert it into the body and bend the end so you can sew on the arms later and keep them connected. You can also sew on the arms without wire.

Dress
Crochet with a 2 mm hook in turning rows (after each row, make 1 ch).

Row 3. inc, skip 4 sc, 5 ch, 4 sc, skip 4 sc, 5 ch, inc (18)

Join the ends with sl st and continue crocheting.

Fasten off. Crochet sleeves into the openings left in row 3, crochet 11 sc: 4 stitches in the skipped area + 5 in the chain + 2 (one on each side).
Then continue:

Fasten off. Put the dress on Kiki and sew it to the back.
Hair
Coffee-color yarn and a 3 mm hook. Start by crocheting the base.

Now start crocheting the strands. Close each strand with a sl st in the next stitch, then start the next strand. Total: 24 strands.
14 strands: 12 ch, 11 hdc from the 2nd chain from the hook
1 strand: 9 ch, 8 hdc from the 2nd chain from the hook
1 strand: 7 ch, 6 hdc from the 2nd chain from the hook
6 strands: 5 ch, 4 sc from the 2nd chain from the hook
1 strand: 7 ch, 6 hdc from the 2nd chain from the hook
1 strand: 9 ch, 8 hdc from the 2nd chain from the hook
Sew or glue the hair base to the back of the head. The 14 identical strands go at the back of the head. The 6 short strands are Kiki's bangs.
Bow
Red yarn and a 3 mm hook:
Band: 35 ch. Sew it onto the head.
Now crochet two pieces:
Row 1. 17 ch (16 + 1 turning chain)
Rows 2-6. 16 sc (16)
Sew both ends together and sew them onto the head.
For the center:
4 ch, 3 sc
Sew it over the join between the two bow pieces.
