Little Fox in a Cloak

Free crochet tutorial for Little Fox in a Cloak by Irina Artemova @irinely_art.
With this pattern, you can crochet a little fox in a cape. For this amigurumi project, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn will work. For the eyes, you will also need small circles of white felt.
The finished toy size is about 17 cm.
Materials and Tools
- Alize Baby Best yarn: orange, white, black
- Acrylic yarn: blue
- 2.5 mm crochet hook
- Safety eyes
- Synthetic poly filling
- Thread for sewing pieces together
- White felt (for the eyes)

Pull the opening closed.
Face Finishing
Cut small circles from white felt. Their diameter should be slightly larger than the safety eyes. Sew the circles on with thin white thread and a needle. Then sew on half-beads or insert safety eyes.

Cloak
Blue yarn:
1: 71 ch
2: Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, crochet 70 sc, 1 tch, turn
3: 70 sc
Cut the yarn, leaving a small tail to weave in so the work does not unravel.
1: Insert the hook into the 25th stitch, crochet 2 tch, 20 dc, 2 tch, turn
2: 20 dc, 2 tch, turn
3: 2 dc in one stitch, 18 dc, 2 dc in one stitch, 2 tch, turn
4: 22 dc, 2 tch, turn
5: 2 dc in one stitch, 20 dc, 2 dc in one stitch, 2 tch, turn
6: 24 dc, 2 tch, turn
7: 2 dc in one stitch, 22 dc, 2 dc in one stitch, 2 tch, turn
8: 26 dc, 2 tch, turn
9: 2 dc in one stitch, 24 dc, 2 dc in one stitch, 2 tch, turn
Weave in all yarn ends so the work does not unravel.
Then edge the cloak with single crochet in the direction shown in the photo:
