Little Dinosaurs

Free crochet tutorial for a Little Dinosaur by AmiAmour.

With this pattern, you can crochet a little dinosaur. Any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn and a suitable crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project.

The finished toy is about 13 cm tall.

Materials and Tools

• Red Heart Super Saver Yarn: green, pink, yellow
• 5 mm crochet hook
• Toy stuffing
• Black felt (for the eyes)
• Stitch markers
• Glue
• Needle for sewing pieces together
• Scissors

Crochet Amigurumi Little Dinosaur Pattern

Snout

With pink yarn (or any other color for the mouth)

1: 9 sc in MR
2: inc in each stitch (18)
3: (inc, sc) around (24)

Do not cut the yarn. Fold the mouth in half. Crochet a straight fold line: 6 sc. Fasten off.

Head

Green yarn (or any other color)

1: 6 sc in MR
2: inc x 6 (12)
3: (inc, sc) x 6 (18)

7: Attach the snout (the upper part to the head): 12 sc (sc through both stitches of the head and the snout), 12 sc in the next stitches of the head (24)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff and close the opening.

For the eyes, cut two small circles from felt and glue them in place.
