Amigurumi little bunny crochet

A free Little Bunny crochet tutorial by Lyudmila Martsyniv.

With this pattern, you can crochet a bunny toy. For this amigurumi project, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn will work. The author recommends Pekhorka Detskaya Novinka yarn (Acrylic yarn 50 g / 200 m). If you like, you can decorate the bunny with a ribbon.

The finished toy is about 16 cm tall.

Attach the eyes between rounds 13 and 14, with 6-7 stitches between them.

Sculpting

Amigurumi little bunny crochet. Head sculpting

Insert the needle at the base of the head (point 1) (where the neck will be) and bring it out under the first eye (point 2). Skip one stitch and insert the needle under the first eye (point 3), then bring it out through the same opening where you started (point 1).

Skip one stitch and insert the needle again at the base of the head (point 4), then bring it out under the second eye (point 5). Skip one stitch and insert the needle under the second eye (point 6), then bring it out through the same opening where you started the second eye sculpting (point 4). Pull tight and tie the thread ends together with a firm knot.

Finishing and assembly

  • Fold the ears in half once again, sew them, and attach them around rounds 18-19 of the head.
  • Carefully position the legs (make sure the bunny can stand) and sew them between rounds 3 and 6 of the body.
  • Make a pom-pom tail and bangs.
  • Use embroidery floss to stitch the nose, mouth, eyebrows, and eyelashes.
  • Tint the ears and cheeks.
