Lemon Keychain

Free Lemon crochet tutorial by @migurumi_land.

With this pattern, you can crochet a lemon-shaped keychain. For this amigurumi project, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn plus a matching crochet hook will work. You can use this toy as a keychain for a bag, backpack, or keys.

Materials and Tools

• Yellow and green yarn
• Crochet hook
• Safety eyes
• Synthetic poly filling
• Keychain hardware
• Needle for sewing parts together
• Scissors

Amigurumi Lemon Keychain Crochet Pattern

Lemon

Crochet in rounds. At the end of each round, make a slip stitch. Stuff as you crochet:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 sc
Round 3: 6 inc (12)
Round 4: (1 sc, inc) x 6 times (18)
Round 5: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5 times, 1 sc (24)
Round 6: (3 sc, inc) x 6 times (30)
Rounds 7-12: 30 sc

Insert safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, 6 sc apart.

Round 13: (3 sc, dec) x 6 times (24)
Round 14: 1 sc, dec (2 sc, dec) x 5 times, 1 sc (18)
Round 15: (1 sc, dec) x 6 times (12)
Round 16: green yarn, 6 dec (6)
Round 17: green yarn, 6 sc

Cut the yarn, leaving a tail, thread it through 6 stitches, and pull tight.

Leaf

Crochet the leaf with green yarn: chain 6, then starting in the second chain from the hook crochet along the chain:

• 1 sc
• 1 half double crochet
• 1 double crochet
• 2 half double crochet
• 1 sc

Fasten off, leave a long tail, and sew the leaf to the green top. With the same yarn, embroider a small mouth on round 7.
