Insert the eyes between rounds 6 and 7 (these spots are marked with pins, right near the increase marks), as shown in the photo. I add a tiny drop of glue under the eye backing for extra hold.

☝ Eyelashes look very effective, but they are optional.

13. (sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Stuff firmly with fiberfill so the face gets cute chubby cheeks.
14. 6 dec, pull the opening closed, hide the yarn tail.

Assembly and Finishing

Sculpting

Bring the needle from point 1 to point 2, then from point 3 to point 4 (make sure the thread lies UNDER the eye). Repeat this step (1-2-3-4) and pull to sculpt. Leave a tail about 10 cm long and cut the thread. Do the same on the other side. Connect points (5-6-7-8), sculpt, symmetrical to the first eye. Tie the thread tails in a knot and trim the excess.

Nose and Eyebrows

From point 1 to point 2, make several stitches to form the nose. Then from point 2 bring the needle out at point 3, and from there pass the thread through the nose and pull slightly. From the nose bring the needle to point 4 to make the eyebrows (4-5-6-7). The eyebrows are done too. From point 7 bring the thread to the saved yarn tail, tie it, and hide it. The face is ready!

Sew the head to the body, stuffing the upper body part firmly. For convenience, I insert a knitting needle through the head and body (as shown in the photo), first sew with regular strong thread doubled, and only then with plush yarn, which we left for this step. Note: You can also add fiberfill through the small opening in the neck while it is still open. Stuff evenly, then sew closed.
