Amigurumi little kitty crochet pattern

Free crochet tutorial for Little Kitty by Natasha @natascha.zayceva.

With this pattern, you can crochet a little kitty. The toy can be used as a keychain for a bag, keys, or as a car accessory.

Any yarn will work for amigurumi: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Bella, and others. For a keychain, it is better to use thinner yarn: Alpina Anabel, VITA Cotton LILY, etc. You will also need keychain hardware.

Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing to the body. I did not stuff the tail, but inserted wire inside.

Assembly and finishing

  • Sew the ears between rounds 2 and 10.
  • Choose eyes to match the size of your kitty and glue them between rounds 10 and 11, spacing them 4-5 stitches apart. I used 6 mm half beads. I also made indentations under the eyes. If you use safety eyes, do this after crocheting round 18.
  • Embroider the nose with pink thread between rounds 11 and 12.
  • Sew the head on so it is attached partly to the body and partly to the paws, turning the face slightly toward you.
  • Sew on the back legs at a slight angle.
  • Insert the end of the wire from the tail into the body and sew on the tail.
