Shaping the Raccoon's Face

You can size the felt eye pieces however you like:

Please note that you should dress the raccoon in the sweater first and only then sew on the head, since the clothing is not removable:

Sweater

The clothing for this toy is non-removable and slightly loose-fitting, and it is quite simple to crochet. You can use a smaller hook if the sweater yarn and the raccoon yarn are the same thickness.

Be sure to try the sweater on the raccoon as you work. You may need a different number of stitches.

Turquoise yarn:
Round 1: 48 ch
Round 2: join the chain into a ring and crochet 48 sc, 2 tch
Round 3: 7 dc, 7 ch, 20 dc, 7 ch, 7 dc, sl st, 2 tch (these openings are for the arms to go through)
Rounds 4-5: 48 dc, sl st, 2 tch (2 rounds)
Round 6: 48 dc, sl st

Amigurumi Raccoon is Ready!
