Amigurumi in love smileys crochet

With this pattern, you can crochet emoji keychains. Any yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this toy project. You can use these amigurumi as hanging decor, as keychains for handbags or backpacks, or simply as toys.

Materials and Tools

  • Acrylic yarn (yellow)
  • Vita Cotton Coco yarn (white)
  • Brown yarn (for hair)
  • Thin yarn or embroidery floss for embroidering the face
  • 1.5 mm and 1.9 mm crochet hooks
  • Toy stuffing
  • Pastel or blush for the cheeks
  • Needle for sewing parts
  • Scissors

Tighten the opening, hide and trim yarn tails.

Eye Whites (2 pieces)

Vita Cotton Coco yarn, white, 1.5 mm hook:

Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing, trim.

Pupils (2 pieces)

Vita Cotton Coco yarn, black, 1.5 mm hook:

Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing, trim.

Assembly and Finishing

  • Sew pupils to the eye whites. Embroider highlights with white thread.
  • Sew on (or glue on, I used glue) the eyes. With black Iris thread, stitch (or glue) around the eyes.
  • Embroider the mouth and eyebrows.
  • Make bangs from Iris thread.
  • Tint the cheeks.
  • Crochet a chain from ch stitches and secure it on top of the head.

Finish the girl the same way, but crochet a braid. Chain 25, starting in the second chain from hook work 24 sl st, then again chain 25, starting in the second chain from hook work 24 sl st, and one more time chain 25, starting in the second chain from hook work 24 sl st. Continue with a chain of 9 ch, starting in the second chain from hook work 8 sl st, repeat this 3 times (this is the bangs). Sew it to the top of the head. Braid the hair and tie a bow. Crochet a chain from ch stitches and secure it on top of the head.
