Hyena

Free Hyena crochet pattern by Irina Artemova @irinely_art.
With this pattern, you can crochet a hyena with its tongue sticking out. Any yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project. For the eyes, you will need small circles of white felt; for the spots on the back, circles of brown felt; and for the nose, black felt.
The finished toy measures about 17 cm.

- Alize Baby Best yarn (310 honey), less than one skein
- Alize Baby Best yarn (08 beige) for the muzzle, ears, and paw tips
- Acrylic yarn (light cherry) for the tongue
- Acrylic yarn (black) for the mane
- 2.5 mm crochet hook
- 6 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing

For the mane, you need many strands of hair: pieces of black yarn, each about 7-8 cm long.
The photos below show the basic method for attaching the hair:

Attach the yarn this way along the entire length of the base for the mane, all in black.
