Hedgehogs

Free crochet tutorial for Hedgehogs by @lukoshkina.o.
With this pattern you can crochet a hedgehog charm. For this amigurumi project, you will need YarnArt Jeans or Alize Cotton Gold. You can decorate the hedgehog with a crocheted leaf or flower. You can finish the toy as a keychain by making a loop yourself or by using ready-made keychain hardware.
Materials and tools
- YarnArt Jeans or Alize Cotton Gold yarn in brown, beige, black, and green
- White sewing thread for the whites of the eyes
- 2.25 mm crochet hook
- Safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Stitch markers

Body
Start crocheting with brown yarn:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Round 2: inc x 6 (12)
Round 3: 3 sc, 6 hdc inc, 3 sc (18)
Round 4: 4 sc, 2 hdc, 6 hdc inc, 2 hdc, 4 sc (24)
Round 5: 5 sc, 4 hdc, 6 hdc inc, 4 hdc, 5 sc (30)
Rounds 6-10: 5 sc, 20 hdc, 5 sc (30)
Round 11: 5 sc, hdc, (hdc, dec) x 6, hdc, 5 sc (24)
Change to beige yarn:
Round 12: 9 sc, 3 dec, 9 sc (21)
Round 13: 21 sc
Round 14: (5 sc, dec) x 3 (18)
Stuff the toy.
Round 15: (dec, 1 sc) x 6 (12)
Round 16: (dec, 2 sc) x 3 (9)
Round 17: (dec, 1 sc) x 3 (6)
Cut the yarn and finish stuffing the toy. Pull the ring closed through the front loops and hide the yarn tail.
Embroider the nose with black thread on the last round.
Embroider the eyes on round 3, leaving 7 sc between the eyes.
Ears (2 pieces)
Beige yarn:
Make a magic ring (you do not need to crochet 6 sc into it as usual).
Crochet ch, 2 hdc into the ring, and sl st.
Tighten and cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing.
Sew the ears on round 11 at eye level.
Leaf
7 ch, starting from the 2nd chain crochet 6 sc. Next crochet ch and turn. Crochet sc, hdc, dc, hdc, 2 sc.
Again ch, 2 sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st + 3 ch
Cut and fasten off the yarn, sew the leaf at the center.
