Hamster

A free crochet tutorial for Hamster by Yuliya Vasilenko @juliapisarenko.

Using this pattern, you can crochet a small simple plush hamster. For this amigurumi project, any plush yarn will work: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others. You only need one color. The whole hamster is crocheted in one piece in a spiral. The ears are crocheted as you go.

Materials and tools

• Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (15 g)
• Thread for embroidering the nose
• 4 mm crochet hook
• Safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Needle for sewing pieces together
• Scissors

Stuff the toy as you crochet. Start with the muzzle:

Pull closed.

Finishing the toy

• Insert safety eyes between rounds 3 and 4. You can also use half beads that are sewn or glued on.
• Embroider the nose with pink thread.
• Your plush crocheted hamster is ready!
