Bavarian Goose Hans

Free crochet tutorial for Bavarian Goose Hans by Irina Artemova @irinely_art.

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush goose named Hans. He comes from Bavaria, wears a traditional German hat, and loves drinking beer. Any plush yarn will work well for this amigurumi project. I used Himalaya Dolphin Baby for the goose and the beer foam, and Alize Baby Best for the hat and the mug.

The finished toy measures about 14 cm. The beer measures about 6 cm.

Materials and Tools

• Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn: white and orange (for the goose and beer foam)
• Acrylic yarn: green, black, red, and yellow (for the hat)
• Alize Baby Best yarn: yellow, white (for the mug)
• 2.5 mm and 4 mm crochet hooks
• 5 mm safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Tapestry needle for sewing pieces together
