Amigurumi crochet gnome ball Christmas ornament

With this pattern, you can crochet a Christmas tree ornament shaped like a little gnome. Any plush yarn in two colors will work for this amigurumi project, such as Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others.

The finished toy is about 15 cm tall.

Round 1: Chain 2 and work 6 sc into the first chain
Round 2: inc in each stitch (12 sc)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18 sc)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24 sc)
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30 sc)
Round 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36 sc)
Rounds 7-12: 36 sc (6 rounds)

Nose

Round 4: 6 dec, cut the yarn

Stuff the piece lightly.

Assembly

  • Sew the nose between rounds 10 and 12.
  • Sew on the hat.
  • Before sewing it on, insert a ribbon into the hat to hold the ornament on the Christmas tree and make a loop.
  • Then decorate the ball to your taste! If desired, you can make a beard for the little gnome from Alize Softy.
