Fried Egg Keychain

Free crochet tutorial for Fried Egg by Larisa Fisaeva @fisaeval.
With this pattern, you can crochet a keychain shaped like a fried egg on a slice of bread. You can use the toy as a keychain for a purse, backpack, or as car decor. Any yarn and a suitable crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project.
The finished toy measures about 6x7 cm.
Materials and tools
- Lily VITA Cotton yarn (175 m / 50 g) in beige and brown
- Acrylic yarn (280 m / 50 g) in white, yellow, and green
- 2-2.5 mm crochet hook
- 8 beads for the arms and legs
- Keychain hardware
- Needle
- Scissors

Amigurumi fried egg crochet pattern
Slice of bread
Use beige yarn.
Rnd 1. 16 ch, starting in the 2nd chain from hook: 15 sc, 1 ch, turn
Rnd 2-19. 15 sc, 1 ch, turn
Rnd 20. inc, 13 sc, inc, 1 ch, turn (17)
Rnd 21-22. 17 sc, 1 ch, turn
Rnd 23. dec, 13 sc, dec, 1 ch, turn (15)

Use brown yarn.
Rnd 25. Crochet sc evenly around the edge, working 3 sc in each corner stitch, sl st
Fasten off.
On the second piece, do not cut the yarn and continue crocheting.
Place both pieces together and join them with sl st.
On the top piece, work the sl st through the back loops; on the bottom piece, work through the front loops.

Arms and legs
Crochet 8 cords of 18 ch each. Tie a knot at one end. Thread the cord through the bead hole.

Assembly

- Sew the yolks to the egg white.
- Sew the egg white to the slice of bread.
- Embroider eyes and a mouth on the yolks.
- Sew on the arms and legs.
- Sew on the lettuce leaf.
- Attach the keychain hardware.
