Freckled Mouse

Free crochet pattern for the Freckled Mouse by Marina Chuchkalova @mycrochetwonders.
With this pattern, you can crochet a mouse wearing freckled overalls. Any cotton blend yarn will work well for this amigurumi project: Alize Cotton Gold, YarnArt Jeans, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.
Materials and Tools
- Alize Cotton Gold and YarnArt Jeans yarn (main yarn)
- Nako Mohair Delicate or Super Angora yarn: pink mohair (for the ears)
- 2 mm crochet hook
- 6 mm safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Sewing needle for attaching the parts

Tail
Crochet holding two strands together.
Chain 21-25. Then work 20-24 sl st back along the chain. Leave a single strand tail for sewing.
Bow Tie
Into MR: 3 ch, 2 tr, sl st, 3 ch, 2 tr, sl st
Pull the ring closed and leave a tail for sewing. Assemble all the parts and sew them to the body. Attach the eyes and embroider the cheeks.
Straps
Chain 17-20. Then, without cutting the yarn, work 10-11 sl st into the stitches at the center front of the overalls and, without cutting the yarn, chain another 17-20.
Embroider freckles on the overalls, making three stitches for each freckle. Your little mouse is ready!
