Rounds 3-5 (3 rounds): 8 sc
Round 6: (2 sc, dec) x 2 times (6)

Stuff the stem.
Round 10, work in the back loops of round 9: 6 sc

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing and wrapping.

Collar

With white yarn:

  • Join yarn to the front loops of round 9 of the stem. Start crocheting: 3 turning chains, (2 tr in one stitch) x 6 times (12 tr)
  • Make a sl st, cut the yarn, fasten off, and weave in the end.
  • If you want a wavier collar, increase the number of tr worked into one stitch.
  • Thread the remaining long yarn tail onto a needle and sew the stem to the cap. Then use this same yarn to wrap the join tightly, fasten off, and hide the end.
  • Embroider stripes with gray sewing thread.
  • Embroider dots on the cap with beads or white thread. Sew the brooch base to the back.
  • Your little fly agaric is ready!
