Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Attach yarn to the row with front loops and crochet the next row: (1 ch, 1 sc, 2 ch, 1 sc) to the end of the row.
Cap
Crochet in brick red. The spots on the cap can be embroidered, or you can crochet them right away using white yarn. Crochet a spot as follows.
Insert the hook into a stitch and pick up an additional white strand. There are two loops on the hook: one white and one brick red.
1: 5 sc in MR (5)
2: 5 inc (10)
3: (1 sc, inc) x 5 (15)
4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 4, 1 sc (20)
5: (3 sc, inc) x 5 (25)
6: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc) x 4, 2 sc (30)
7: (5 sc, inc) x 5 (35)
8: 3 sc, inc, (6 sc, inc) x 4, 3 sc (40)
9: (19 sc, inc) x 2 (42)
10: 42 sc (42)
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Now pick up the brick-red yarn and finish the single crochet. This forms a little "V".

Crochet the spots in random order. Start from the third round and crochet every odd round in a checkerboard order. If you want, you can crochet them in every round, just not in the last one.
Toy Assembly

- Sew the cap to the stem. Sew by catching the half loops of both parts.
- The cap does not need stuffing.
- Secure and weave in all yarn ends.
