Floppy-Eared Bunny Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Head
Start crocheting with the main color yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
Rnd 7: (11 sc, inc) x 3 (39)
Rnd 8: (12 sc, inc) x 3 (42)
Rnd 9-12 (4 rounds): 42 sc (42)
Rnd 13: inc, 8 sc, 8 inc, 7 sc (place a marker in the center stitch of these seven stitches - this is the center of the face), 8 inc, 8 sc, inc, 1 sc (60)
Rnd 14-19 (6 rounds): 60 sc (60)
At this stage, insert the safety eyes between rounds 12 and 13 of the head, 7 sc apart, using the center of the face as your guide.
Rnd 20: (1 sc, dec) x 20 (40)
Rnd 21: (2 sc, dec) x 10 (30)
Start stuffing the head.
Rnd 22: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Rnd 23: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
If you plan to use a joint to attach the head, insert one part of it (the disk with the screw) into the head at this stage. If you are not using a joint, skip this step and simply continue crocheting.
Before inserting the joint, finish stuffing the head very firmly, shaping the cheeks.
Rnd 24: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Rnd 25: dec x 6 (6)
Cut the yarn and pull the opening closed around the screw. Weave in the yarn tail.

Face Details
First, you need to sculpt the face. To do this, mark the points where you will make the needle sculpting. Points A and B, C and D are located near the toy's eyes, and points E and F are in the middle of the face between rounds 20 and 21. The distance between adjacent points is 1 sc. Insert the thread at point E and bring it out at point B (the yarn tail should remain visible from point E).

For convenience, I will list the points in the order where the needle goes in and out. So: E
- (B - A - E - F - C - D - F - E) x repeat 2-3 times. This sculpts the toy's mouth. Now sculpt the eyes closer together: (A - D - C - B) x repeat 2 times. Pull the thread tight. Bring the thread out at point E, tie both ends together, and hide them. The sculpting is done.
Next, embroider the whites of the eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, and nose.
Ears (make 2)
Start crocheting with the main color yarn and the larger hook (I used a 2.5 mm hook). Crochet fairly loosely so the ear is heavier.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: (8 sc, inc) x 2 (20)
Rnd 5: 1 sc, inc, 9 sc, inc, 8 sc (22)
Rnd 6-9 (4 rounds): 22 sc (22)
Rnd 10: (dec, 9 sc) x 2 (20)
Rnd 11-13 (3 rounds): 20 sc (20)
Rnd 14: (dec, 8 sc) x 2 (18)
Rnd 15-17 (3 rounds): 18 sc (18)
Rnd 18: (dec, 7 sc) x 2 (16)
Rnd 19-23 (5 rounds): 16 sc (16)
Rnd 24: (dec, 6 sc) x 2 (14)
Rnd 25-29 (5 rounds): 14 sc (14)
Rnd 30: (dec, 5 sc) x 2 (12)
Rnd 31-37 (7 rounds): 12 sc (12)
Fold the base of the ear in half and crochet 6 sc through both layers. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. To make the ears less "upright," be sure to steam them with an iron, gently stretching the fabric.
Body
The body is crocheted from top to bottom. Start crocheting with the main color yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Do not tighten the magic ring too much, so you can insert the screw from the joint into it.
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
Rnd 5: (7 sc, inc) x 3 (27)
Rnd 6: 3 sc, inc, (8 sc, inc) x 2, 5 sc (30)
Rnd 7: (9 sc, inc) x 3 (33)
Attach the base of the body to the head by placing it onto the screw of the joint and securing it with the stopper. To make this easier, insert a knitting needle through the head (at the very base, directly above the joint disk), and support the body on this needle as you attach it. Continue crocheting the body:
Rnd 8: 4 sc, inc, (10 sc, inc) x 2, 6 sc (36)
Rnd 9: (11 sc, inc) x 3 (39)
Rnd 10: 5 sc, inc, (12 sc, inc) x 2, 7 sc (42)
Rnd 11: 12 sc, 2 inc, 28 sc (44)
Rnd 12: 13 sc, 2 inc, 29 sc (46)
Rnd 13: 14 sc, 2 inc, 30 sc (48)
If you are not using a joint to attach the head, mark the increases in rounds 11-13 for yourself - this is the center of the toy's back.
Rnd 14-21 (8 rounds): 48 sc (48)
Rnd 22: 2 sc, dec, (6 sc, dec) x 5, 4 sc (42)
Rnd 23: (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
Start stuffing the body.
Rnd 24: 1 sc, dec, (4 sc, dec) x 5, 3 sc (30)
Rnd 25: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Rnd 26: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Rnd 27: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Rnd 28: dec x 6 (6)
Cut the yarn and pull the opening closed. Weave in the yarn tail.
Legs (make 2)
Start crocheting with white yarn. Chain 6, and begin crocheting in the second chain from the hook.
Rnd 1: inc, 3 sc, 4 sc in one stitch, 4 sc (13)
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 2 sc, 6 inc, 2 sc, inc (22)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 2, 2 sc, (1 sc, inc) x 6, 3 sc, inc (31)
Crochet two offset stitches.
Rnd 4-6 (3 rounds): 31 sc (31)
Rnd 7: dec, 29 sc (30)
Rnd 8: 7 sc, 8 dec, 7 sc (22)
Rnd 9: 7 sc, 4 dec, 7 sc (18)
Rnd 10: 7 sc, 2 dec, 7 sc (16)
Rnd 11: 7 sc, dec, 7 sc (15)
Change to the main color yarn.
Rnd 12-18 (7 rounds): 15 sc (15)
Rnd 19: (3 sc, dec) x 3 (12)
Rnd 20: dec x 6 (6)
Cut the yarn and pull the opening closed. Weave in the yarn tail.
Arms (make 2)
Start crocheting with white yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)
Rnd 4-5: 15 sc (15)
Rnd 6: 1 dec, 2 sc, 1 dec, 9 sc (13)
Rnd 7: 2 dec, 9 sc (11)
Rnd 8: 1 dec, 9 sc (10)
Change to the main color yarn.
Rnd 9-17 (9 rounds): 10 sc (10)
Rnd 18: dec x 5 (5)
Cut the yarn and pull the opening closed. Weave in the yarn tail.
Tail
Crochet with white yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: dec x 9 (9)
Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the tail lightly with toy stuffing.
Assembly
Sew the ears to the head, placing them at the base at an angle toward each other, then lightly tack them together to shape them (see photo).

- Attach the arms and legs with thread joints - place the legs between rounds 10 and 11 of the body (from the bottom), and the arms between rounds 23 and 24 (from the bottom).
- Sew the tail between rounds 10-13 of the body (from the bottom).
- Tint the cheeks. The bunny is ready!
Carrot
Start crocheting with orange yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
Rnd 3: 9 sc (9)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 3 (12)
Rnd 5: 12 sc (12)
Rnd 6: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)
Rnd 7: 15 sc (15)
Rnd 8: (4 sc, inc) x 3 (18)
Rnd 9: 18 sc (18)
Rnd 10: (5 sc, inc) x 3 (21)
Rnd 11: 21 sc (21)
Rnd 12: (6 sc, inc) x 3 (24)
Rnd 13-17 (5 rounds): 24 sc (24)
Rnd 18: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Rnd 19: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Rnd 20: dec x 6 (6)

Cut the yarn and pull the opening closed. Weave in the yarn tail. Join green yarn to the last round with a sl st, ch 20, then sl st again into the last round of the main piece. This makes the first leaf. Make 4 more the same way.
Cut the yarn, fasten off, and weave in the ends. The carrot is ready! This bunny will not go hungry!
