Easter Kulich

Free Easter Kulich crochet tutorial by @goozell_toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a kulich. For this amigurumi project, you can use any acrylic, cotton, or blended yarn, plus a matching crochet hook. The toy is very simple and consists of two parts: the cake base and the icing. Embroider the sprinkles with bright, contrasting colors. If desired, you can sew on seed beads or rhinestones.

Easter Kulich Amigurumi Crochet Pattern with Bright Sprinkles
Brown Yarn Kulich
Start with 2 ch or with a magic ring.
Row 1: 6 sc in the 2nd chain from hook or into MR (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Row 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (18)
Row 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (24)
Row 5: in back loops only - 24 sc (24)
Row 6: (7 sc, 1 inc) x 3 times (27)
Row 7: 27 sc (27)
Row 8: (8 sc, 1 inc) x 3 times (30)
Row 9: 30 sc (30)
Row 10: (9 sc, 1 inc) x 3 times (33)
Row 11: 33 sc (33)
Row 12: (10 sc, 1 inc) x 3 times (36)
Row 13: in back loops only - (4 sc, 1 dec) x 6 times (30)

Stuff the kulich as you crochet.
Row 15: (2 sc, 1 dec) x 6 times (18)
Row 16: (1 sc, 1 dec) x 6 times (12)
Row 17: 6 dec (6) + 1 sl st in the next stitch for alignment.
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail about 15 cm long. Close the opening with a needle.
White Yarn Icing
Start with 2 ch or with a magic ring.
Row 1: 6 sc in the 2nd chain from hook or into MR (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Row 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (18)
Row 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (24)
Row 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (30)
Row 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) x 6 times (36)
Row 7: in back loops only - (skip 2 stitches, work 6 dc in the 3rd stitch, skip 2 stitches again, work 1 sl st in the 3rd stitch) x 6 times
Finish the round with 1 ch, then cut the yarn, leaving a tail about 30 cm long.
Embroider sprinkles using yarn in different colors.
Place the icing on the kulich and use the remaining yarn tail to secure it along the edge between the "waves."
