With this pattern, you can crochet a kulich (Easter cake). It is a flat crocheted toy shaped like an Easter cake. For this amigurumi project, the designer recommends two yarn options: Alize My Baby or any other acrylic yarn. You can decorate the icing in any way: use seed beads, beads, or embroider with colored thread. You can also tie a little bow for decoration.

Amigurumi Kulich Crochet Pattern

Crochet in turning rows: at the end of each row, make a turning chain and turn the piece. The right side of each piece is the side where odd-numbered rows are right-side rows.

Base for the Kulich

Row 1: 7 ch (not too tight), working into the bottom bumps of the chain, starting in the 2nd chain from hook: 2 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc = 10;
Row 2: inc, 8 sc, inc = 12;
Row 3: inc, 10 sc, inc = 14;
Rows 4-6 (3 rows): 14 sc = 14;
Row 7: dec, 10 sc, dec = 12;
Rows 8-13 (6 rows): 12 sc = 12;
Row 14: dec, 8 sc, dec = 10;
Rows 15-18 (4 rows): 10 sc = 10, cut the yarn, leave a short tail.

Crochet one more piece and do not cut the yarn. Place both pieces with wrong sides facing each other (the piece with the working yarn is the lower one), then join both pieces: tch, 17 sc along the side, on the top edge - inc, 4 sc, inc, 17 sc along the side, tch, stuff the base (not firmly), 10 sc along the bottom edge, sl st in the first edging stitch.
