Assembly and Finishing

Amigurumi crochet Easter bunny. Toy assembly

  • Sew the ears to the top of the head, close together.
  • Sew on the lower paws and tail so they act as supports.
  • Sew the upper paws around rounds 35-36. If you want, you can insert wire so the paws hold their shape. You will need a piece about 20 cm long. Insert it between rounds 35 and 36, bend the wire ends by about 0.5 cm, put the paws on, stuff them lightly, and sew them to rounds 35 and 36. Do not overstuff the paws, especially at the top, or they will not bend well.
  • Embroider the face. It is better to use regular sewing thread doubled over so it does not look too bulky. First, count 5 rounds from the start of the head, where the shaping begins, and insert the needle in the center. Then count 4 more rounds; this will be the crossing line of the face. After that, mark the points for the nose and smile. The placement is visible in the photo. It is best to embroider the nose last so you can see how it looks and avoid having to undo it.
