Work all pieces in a spiral.
Sole
1. Chain 10, start in the second chain from the hook: 3 sc in one stitch, 7 sc along the chain, 3 sc in the last stitch, 7 sc along the other side of the chain (20).
2. 3 inc, 7 sc, 3 inc, 7 sc (26).
3. (1 sc, inc) x 3, 7 sc, (1 sc, inc) x 3, 7 sc (32).
4. (2 sc, inc) x 3, 7 sc, (2 sc, inc) x 3, 7 sc (38).

For each shoe, crochet 2 of these sole pieces, because a cardboard insole will be inserted between them. Place the crocheted sole on cardboard, trace around it, and cut out the insole. Then trim the piece slightly to make it smaller. Place the two sole pieces with wrong sides facing inward. Join yarn in a different color and crochet around them with single crochet, catching only the back loops of both pieces. When you are halfway around the sole, do not forget to insert the cardboard insole.

Continue crocheting:
Crochet 4 rounds without changes, 38 sc in each round. Then mark the 16 middle stitches at the toe with stitch markers. Finish the round up to the first marker. From this point, crochet the toe in turning rows:
- Make 8 dc decreases in back loops only, ch, turn.
- 4 sc decreases, ch, turn.
- Decrease the 4 remaining stitches together (pull the yarn through 5 loops on the hook), ch, finish crocheting.
Attach yarn where the first marker was and crochet around the toe with sc. I got 8 stitches.
Without cutting the yarn, crochet the tongue.

Tongue
ch, turn, 8 sc in back loops only.
ch, turn, 8 sc, finish crocheting
Crochet around the tongue with sc.
I weave in every newly attached yarn tail as I go. Now only the side cuffs remain: attach yarn where the first half-loop is visible at the toe and crochet sc along the heel of the shoe up to the next half-loop. At the end of the row, ch, turn your work, and crochet two more turning rows, making a decrease at the beginning and end of each row. Crochet around the side cuffs with sc and hide the yarn tails.
Insert the laces. I made mine from the same yarn, dipping the ends in clear all-purpose glue. The sneaker is ready.
