With this pattern, you can crochet a little dog. For this amigurumi, any thin fluffy yarn and a suitable crochet hook will work. You can decorate the toy with a ribbon and a small bone-shaped button.

Crochet Amigurumi Dog Pattern

Head

1. 6 sc in MR
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (sc, inc) x 6 times (18)
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 times (24)
5. (3 sc, inc) x 6 times (30)
6-9. (4 rounds) crochet 30 sc in each round (30)
10. (3 sc, dec) x 6 times (24)
11. (2 sc, dec) x 6 times (18)
12. (sc, dec) x 6 times (12)

At this stage, insert the eyes if you are also using safety eyes with washers. Stuff the head so the eyes do not look crooked.

Muzzle

1. 7 ch, starting in the second chain from the hook, crochet 5 sc, then make 3 sc in one stitch, then 4 sc and inc. You should have 14 sc.

Sew the muzzle to the head and stuff it well. Crochet, embroider, or sculpt the nose from polymer clay, whichever you prefer.

Ears (2 Pieces)

1. Chain 8, start crocheting in the second chain from the hook - 7 sc. Make a turning ch (7)
2. Turn the work with the wrong side facing you and crochet 7 sc again, turning ch (7)
3. Turn again - dec, 3 sc, dec, ch (5)
4. Turn - dec, 3 sc, ch (4)
5. Turn - dec, 2 sc, ch (3)
6. Turn - dec, sc, ch (2)
7. Turn and crochet 2 sc together (dec)

Sew the ears on by either long side of the triangle, folding them forward.

Stuff the leg, make the decreases, and close the work.

Assembly

Assemble your little puppy. Sew on the paws using thread joints. Bring the remaining thread tails out where the tail should be and crochet 6 ch; in the second chain from the hook, crochet sc, 4 dc. Fasten off the thread and hide it inside the body.

The little one is ready! Crochet him a couple more brothers so he will not get lonely :)
