Acorns

Free Acorns crochet tutorial by Yulia Matyushina @jm_crotoys.

With this pattern, you can crochet acorns with a little oak leaf. This toy can be used as autumn home decor, a keychain, or a brooch.

Materials and Tools

• Alize Cotton Gold / YarnArt Jeans / Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn in beige, brown, and green
• 1.5-1.75 mm crochet hook
• Toy stuffing
• Needle for sewing parts together
• Scissors

Abbreviations

• MR - magic ring
• ch - chain stitch
• sl st - slip stitch
• sc - single crochet
• inc - increase
• dec - decrease
• (...) x n - repeat n times

Amigurumi Acorn Crochet Pattern

Acorn

Beige color:

1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 inc (12)
3: 12 sc (12)
4: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
5-9: 18 sc (5 rounds)
Stuff the piece
10: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
11: 6 dec (6)

Pull the opening closed. Fasten off and hide the yarn.

Cap

Brown color:

Leave a 20 cm yarn tail at the beginning.

4: (5 sc, inc) x 3 (21)
5: 21 sc
6: 21 sl st

Fasten off yarn. Leave a long tail to sew the cap to the acorn. Using the tail left at the beginning, chain 6 and, starting from the 2nd ch from hook, crochet 5 sl st. Fasten off the yarn inside the cap. Sew the cap to the acorn.

Leaf

Chain 13, then crochet according to the chart:

When you have crocheted 5 ch of the leaf stem, optionally join the stem from the acorn cap, and only then finish with sc and sl st. Fasten off and hide the yarn.
