Horse

Free crochet tutorial for a Horse by @polurepka.workshop.
With this pattern, you can crochet a long-haired horse. For this amigurumi, you will need any cotton blend yarn, such as YarnArt Jeans. The mane and tail are made from yarn strands. The toy comes out small, about palm-sized.

Insert 9 mm safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11. (7-8 stitches between the eye posts)

Fasten off, close the opening through the front loops, and cut the yarn.
Ears

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Fold in half and crochet 6 sc through both layers. Fasten off and cut the yarn. The arms will be crocheted into the body.

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing on the head.
Assembly
Sew the head to the body.
Fold each ear in half and make a couple of stitches to secure it in that position. Sew the ears to the head around round 17 (+/-), roughly at eye level.
Embroider the nostrils with thin thread. Use the photo as a guide.

Cut the yarn (I used fluffy baby acrylic yarn) for the mane into strips of any length. Fold each strip in half.
Pull them through the stitches of the horse itself, tightening them into a loop, three strands per row.
I worked up to the middle of the head.
Trim the ends of the mane with scissors.
Do the same for the tail.
I ended up with 9 yarn cords in the tail.
