Crochet Bow

Free crochet tutorial for a Bow by Emily Friman @emily_friman.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small bow. For this amigurumi project, any yarn and a matching crochet hook will work. You can use this bow to decorate toys, dolls, and accessories.

Bow base
Work in turning rows:
Row 1: 3 ch, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 2 sc, ch, turn (2)
Row 2: 2 inc, ch, turn (4)
Row 3: 4 sc, ch, turn (4)
Row 4: inc, 2 sc, inc, ch, turn (6)
Rows 5-9: 6 sc in each row, ch, turn (6)
Row 10: dec, 2 sc, dec, ch, turn (4)
Row 11: 4 sc, ch, turn (4)
Row 12: 2 dec, ch, turn (2)
Row 13: 2 sc, ch, turn (2)
Row 14: 2 inc, ch, turn (4)
Row 15: 4 sc, ch, turn (4)
Row 16: inc, 2 sc, inc, ch, turn (6)
Rows 17-21: 6 sc in each row, ch, turn (6)
Row 22: dec, 2 sc, dec, ch, turn (4)
Row 23: 4 sc, ch, turn (4)

Cut a longer yarn tail, then use a needle to sew row 1 and row 25 together. Wrap yarn around the middle of the bow, tie a knot, and hide the ends.
Bow tails
9 ch, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: sl st, 6 sc, sl st, then again 9 ch, starting in the 2nd chain: sl st, 6 sc, sl st, plus one extra sl st into the first stitch if desired.
Use the yarn ends to sew the tails to the bow base.
