Christmas Stocking

With this pattern, you can crochet a Christmas stocking tree ornament. Any plush yarn will work for this amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, Nako Panda Baby, and others. The whole toy is crocheted as one piece. The finished Christmas stocking is small. It makes a very cute holiday decoration for your home or Christmas tree. If you like, you can decorate it with a ribbon.
Materials and tools
- Plush yarn: red, white (or any other colors)
- 4-4.5 mm crochet hook
- Toy stuffing
- Bow
- Cord
- Needle for sewing pieces together
- Scissors

- sl st - slip stitch
- sc - single crochet
- inc - increase
- dec - decrease
- (...) x n - repeat n times
Amigurumi Christmas stocking crochet pattern
Beginning of the stocking
Start crocheting with white yarn:
1. 6 sc in MR
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Join red yarn, do not cut the white yarn!
4. 18 sc - in back loops only
5-8. 18 sc (4 rounds)
9. 14 sc - do not finish the round, so the previous color change stays at the bottom of the stocking
Heel
Work the heel in turning rows (4 rows). Crochet with white yarn; do not cut the red yarn!
10. 8 sc - in back loops only
11-13. turn, 1 ch, 8 sc (3 rows)
Fold the heel right sides together and crochet through both edges: 4 sl st. Cut the white yarn and secure it well. Turn the heel right side out.
Continuation of the stocking
Continue crocheting with red yarn. Start the round where the red yarn remains.
14. 9 sc along the white heel, 9 sc along the red stocking part (18)
15-18. 18 sc (4 rounds)
Crochet 4-5 more sc so the marker is at the back and the color change is on the same level.
Change yarn color to white, cut the red yarn, and secure it.
19. 18 sc - in back loops only
20. 18 sc, sl st
Cut the yarn and secure it. Decorate as desired.
