Legs (make 2)

Start with black yarn:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc (12)
Rounds 3-10: 12 sc
Stuff lightly. Next, work in turning rows to shape the heel.
Round 11: 3 sc, sl st into the 4th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Round 12: 4 sc, sl st into the 5th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Round 13: 5 sc, sl st into the 6th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Round 14: 6 sc, sl st into the 7th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Round 15: 7 sc, sl st into the 8th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Round 16: 8 sc, sl st into the 9th stitch, 1 ch, turn
Rounds 17-18: 12 sc
Then work 4 more sc with black yarn so the color change seam stays at the back.
Stuff. Change to red yarn. Work round 19 in BLO.
Rounds 19-20: 12 sc
Change to beige yarn.
Rounds 21-22: 12 sc

Then crochet 38 more rounds, changing color every 2 rounds. Stuff as you go. I also suggest working 2 offset stitches every 10 rounds. This helps keep the color change seam from drifting to the front. If that does not bother you, you can skip the offset stitches. After 50 rounds, fold the piece and join the edges with sc. Fasten off and cut the yarn. Go back to round 19, which was worked in BLO. Join black yarn and crochet the top of the boot.

Round 1: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)
Round 2: 15 sc
Round 3: (4 sc, inc) x 3 (18)
Round 4: 18 sc

Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail. Crochet the second leg the same way. After joining the folded fabric edges with sc in round 51, do not cut the yarn.

Body

Now start the body. Take the leg where you did not cut the yarn. Make 1 ch and crochet 6 sc into the front loops of the joining chain used to fold the fabric. Turn and crochet 6 more sc along the other side of that chain, then make a chain of 9 ch and join it to the second leg with 1 sc. Continue the same way, crocheting around the leg with 11 sc. This is round 51. Place a marker here, this will be the start of the round.

Round 52: 9 sc along the chain, 12 sc on leg 1, 9 sc on the other side of the chain, 12 sc on leg 2 (42)
Rounds 53-60: 42 sc
Crochet 16 more sc and change to gray yarn, place a marker, this is the new start of round.
Round 61: 42 sc
Rounds 62-63: 42 sc in BLO
Round 64: (dec, 19 sc) x 2 (40)
Round 65: (dec, 18 sc) x 2 (38)
Round 66: (dec, 17 sc) x 2 (36)
Round 67: (dec, 16 sc) x 2 (34)
Round 68: (dec, 15 sc) x 2 (32)
Round 69: (dec, 14 sc) x 2 (30)
Round 70: (dec, 13 sc) x 2 (28)
Round 71: (dec, 12 sc) x 2 (26)
Round 72: (dec, 11 sc) x 2 (24)
Round 73: (dec, 10 sc) x 2 (22)
Round 74: (dec, 9 sc) x 2 (20)
Round 75: (dec, 8 sc) x 2 (18)
Round 76: (dec, 7 sc) x 2 (16)
Round 77: (dec, 6 sc) x 2 (14)
Round 78: (dec, 5 sc) x 2 (12)

Finish crocheting and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Arms (make 2)

Start with cream yarn:

Round 1: 5 sc in MR
Round 2: 5 inc (10)
Rounds 3-8: 10 sc
Change to gray yarn.
Round 9: 10 sc
Round 10: 10 sc in BLO
Rounds 11-30: 10 sc
Round 21: (dec, 3 sc) x 2 (8)
Pull the opening closed and weave in the yarn.
Go back to round 10, which was worked in BLO, join yarn at the start of the round, and crochet the cuff.
Round 1: (4 sc, inc) x 2 (12)
Round 2: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)

Finish crocheting and weave in the yarn. Crochet the second arm the same way.

Skirt

Start with the lower skirt. Find the start of round 62, which was worked in BLO, and join cream yarn.

Round 1: 2 ch, repeat 2 dc in 1 stitch 42 times, sl st at end of round (84)
Round 2: 2 ch, (1 dc, 2 dc in 1) x 42, sl st at end of round (126)
Rounds 3-7: 2 ch, 126 dc, sl st at end of round

Finish crocheting and weave in the yarn. Now move to the upper skirt. Find the start of round 63, which was worked in BLO, and join gray yarn.

Round 1: 2 ch, repeat 2 dc in 1 stitch 42 times, sl st at end of round (84)
Round 2: 2 ch, (1 dc, 2 dc in 1) x 42, sl st at end of round (126)
Rounds 3-6: 2 ch, 126 dc, sl st at end of round
Round 7: 1 ch, 126 sc, sl st at end of round

Finish crocheting and weave in the yarn.

Attaching the arms

I suggest attaching the arms with the thread-joint method. Insert the needle between rounds 75 and 76 of the body, leaving a short tail, and bring it out on the opposite side at the same level. Then insert the needle through the arm between rounds 29 and 30, as shown in the photo, and attach it to the body. Insert the needle again into the body between rounds 75 and 76, in the same spot where the thread came out, and bring it out on the opposite side of the body at the original point. Take the tail you left at the beginning, tighten, and tie a firm knot. Repeat the same steps for the second arm. Pierce the arm between rounds 29 and 30 as shown in the photo, pull the thread tight, and tie a firm knot. Hide the thread ends inside the body.

Head + face details

With cream yarn, stuff firmly as you crochet:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc (12)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
Round 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
Round 7: (5 sc, inc) x 6 (42)
Round 8: (6 sc, inc) x 6 (48)
Rounds 9-16: 48 sc
Insert the eyes between rounds 11 and 12, leaving 5 sc between them.
Round 17: (6 sc, dec) x 6 (42)
Round 18: (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
Round 19: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
Round 20: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Round 21: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Round 22: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Round 23: 6 dec (6)

Pull the opening closed and hide the yarn tail inside the piece.

Amigurumi crochet witch Chloe. Face details

Add the face details. Embroider the whites of the eyes and the nose with cream thread, the eyebrows, eyelids, and eyelashes with black thread, and the mouth with red thread. Try the head on the body, pin it in place, and sew it on. All that is left is to attach the hair. I used doll wefts, a little under 50 cm total, and sewed them in 5 rows close to each other with a backstitch. It is best to use thread matching the hair color. I did not have one on hand, so I used beige thread. In this case that is fine, since all seams will be hidden under the hat. And finally, of course, a haircut. I trimmed the hair by about 3 cm. I originally used 15 cm wefts.

Hat

Start with black yarn:

Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: inc, 5 sc (7)
Round 3: inc, 6 sc (8)
Round 4: inc, 7 sc (9)
Round 5: inc, 8 sc (10)
Round 6: inc, 9 sc (11)
Round 7: inc, 10 sc (12)
Round 8: inc, 11 sc (13)
Round 9: inc, 12 sc (14)
Round 10: inc, 13 sc (15)
Round 11: inc, 14 sc (16)
Round 12: inc, 15 sc (17)
Round 13: inc, 16 sc (18)
Round 14: (inc, 8 sc) x 2 (20)
Round 15: (inc, 9 sc) x 2 (22)
Round 16: (inc, 10 sc) x 2 (24)
Round 17: (inc, 7 sc) x 3 (27)
Round 18: (inc, 8 sc) x 3 (30)
Round 19: (inc, 4 sc) x 6 (36)
Round 20: (inc, 5 sc) x 6 (42)
Round 21: (inc, 6 sc) x 6 (48)
Change to red yarn.
Rounds 22-23: 48 sc
Change to black yarn.
Round 24: 48 sc
Round 25: (1 sc, inc) x 24 in BLO (72)
Round 26: (2 sc, inc) x 24 (96)
Rounds 27-30: 96 sc

Finish crocheting, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Try the hat on, pin it in place, and hide the seams under the hat. Sew it on with a backstitch.

Scarf

Work in turning rows with red yarn. Make a chain of 80 ch + 1 ch:

Row 1: 80 sc
Rows 2-4: 80 sc in BLO

Finish crocheting and weave in the yarn. I also suggest making a belt to break up the solid-color dress. For this, make a chain of 120 ch, secure the thread at the end stitches, and use a needle to weave the chain between the body and the first round of the upper skirt, then tie a bow.

Your Halloween little witch is ready!
