Cat Keychain

Free crochet tutorial for the Cat Keychain by Nadezhda Shumorkina @duchess_pear_me.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small cat keychain. The crocheted keychain is a cat face. Crochet Amigurumi Cat Keychain Pattern
Note. Use back post single crochet to shape the paw in round 6. At the same time, work around all 3 dc from the previous round.
1 rnd: 10 ch
2 rnd: starting from the 2nd chain from the hook: 8 sc, 3 sc in the last chain, 7 sc on the other side, inc (20)
3 rnd: inc, 7 sc, inc, sc, inc, 7 sc, inc, sc (24)
4 rnd: 24 sc (24)
In the next two rounds, shape the paws. The beginning of the round runs along the left side, slightly toward the back. If the paws do not come out as in the photo, add offset stitches, or conversely unravel the required number of sc in the previous round.

5 rnd: 3 sc, 3 dc in one stitch, 3 sc, 3 dc in one stitch, 16 sc (28)
6 rnd: 3 sc, BPsc, 3 sc, BPsc, 16 sc (24)
Back post single crochet is shown in detail in the photo (in this pattern, work around all three dc of round 5 at the same time).
7 rnd: 24 sc (24)
When crocheting the muzzle, close both popcorn stitches and the sc in the middle with the main (orange) yarn (see photo). Each popcorn stitch consists of 3 dc.
After finishing round 8, or right before crocheting the ears, you can gently push the muzzle forward to add more volume.
8 rnd: 4 sc, in white (popcorn stitch, sc, popcorn stitch), 17 sc (24)
9-10 rnd: 24 sc (24)
11 rnd: dec, 7 sc, dec, sc, dec, 7 sc, dec, sc (20)
Stuff the keychain completely; do not cut the yarn.
Now crochet the ears one by one. Fold the piece in half and align the stitches. Each ear requires 7 stitches; the gap between the ears is 3 stitches on both the front and back sides. Start with the left ear: 3 sc, move to the other side, (2 sc, dec) x 3. Cut the yarn, close the opening from the remaining 4 stitches, fasten off, and hide the yarn.
Right ear: join yarn to the back side, skipping 3 sc from the left ear, ch, move to the other side, 6 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec) x 2.

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew the middle. Close the opening from the remaining 4 stitches and bring the yarn out at the base of the ear.
Sew the front and back sides together. You can insert the keyring loop right away.
Shape the muzzle using a thin black thread. The nose is a few horizontal stitches.
Glue the eyes directly above the muzzle, leaving about half an sc from it. The distance between the eyes is one sc.
Attach the keychain base or clasp to the ring.
