Carrot Love

Free Carrot Love crochet tutorial by Galina Nikitina @danilovagalinochka.

With this pattern, you can crochet a bunny with a carrot-shaped heart. Any plush yarn works for this amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Velvet, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others.

Finished toy size is about 15 cm.

Materials and Tools

• Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Velvet: 90063-pearl (1 skein), 90019-pink (0.5 skein), 90016-orange (a little)
• Alize Softy yarn: 55-white (for cheeks)
• YarnArt Christmas yarn: 43-green (for carrot top)
• Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn: 3436-brown, 3468-pink (for muzzle)
• 4 mm crochet hook (main), 3 mm (for cheeks), 2 mm (for nose)
• 20 mm safety eyes
• Doll eyelashes
• Toy stuffing
• Needle
• Scissors

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Do not stuff the very top of the arm. Embroider finger details on the arms. Sew the arms between rounds 15 and 19. Stitch the right arm to the cheek with one stitch.

Bow

Crochet in turning rows with pink yarn.

Chain 9 + 1 turning chain. Start from the 2nd chain from the hook: 9 sc, turn, ch, and again 9 sc, and repeat for 9 more rows.

Single crochet around the edges, making 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off and cut the yarn. Wrap the center of the bow with yarn several times. Sew on the bow.

Face Details

Embroider eyebrows with dark brown Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn and the mouth with pink Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn.

Heart

Crochet with a 3 mm hook and orange yarn. Stuff the heart as you crochet.

1. 2 ch, in 2nd chain from hook crochet 6 sc, then continue in the round
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet the second piece the same way, but do not cut the yarn. Continue crocheting and join the first piece.

4. Crochet 18 sc around the first piece, then 18 sc around the second piece.

Carrot Top

Crochet with a 2 mm hook and green YarnArt Christmas yarn. Chain 20:

1. 1 turning chain, then crochet 2 sc in each chain to the end.

Sew the carrot top onto the carrot. Sew one side of the heart to the paw and the other side to the cheek.
