Easter Bunny

Free tutorial for crocheting an Easter Bunny by @sasha_knit_toys.
Using this pattern, you can crochet a bunny basket for candy or Easter eggs. This is a crocheted Easter decor piece in the form of a bunny candy holder. For this amigurumi project, you will need Dolphin Baby plush yarn (or equivalents). The bow is crocheted with YarnArt Jeans cotton blend yarn. Use any colors you like, bright or pastel. Decorate as you wish or follow the author's photos.
The toy consists of two parts (top and bottom) and forms a box or basket where you can store candy, an Easter egg, or other small items.
Materials and Tools
- Dolphin Baby plush yarn: main color (milky white) about 1/3 of a skein, plus leftovers of different colors
- YarnArt Jeans yarn (5 g)
- Crochet hooks: 4 mm, 3.5 mm, 2 mm
- 10 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch markers

- Needle for sewing parts together

Easter Bunny Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
Bottom Part
Insert (3.5 mm hook, main color)
1. ch 2, in the 2nd chain from hook, 6 sc (6);
2. 6 inc (12);
3. (sc, inc) x 6 (18);
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24);
5. in front loop only (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30);
6-10. 30 sc, sl st (5 rounds).
Fasten off, pull the tail to the wrong side.
Bottom Part
Outer striped part (4 mm hook).
1. ch 2, in the 2nd chain from hook, 6 sc (6);
2. 6 inc (12);
3. (sc, inc) x 6 (18);
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24), change color;
5. in back loop only (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30);
6. 30 sc, change color;
7-8. 30 sc, change color;
9-10. 30 sc, change color;
11. 30 sc (30);
12. place the inner part inside the outer part, wrong side to wrong side, and crochet through both layers: 30 sc;
13. 30 sl st;
Fasten off, cut the yarn, and hide the tail.
Ears. (2 pieces, 4 mm hook)
1. leave a 15 cm tail for sewing, ch 3, in the 2nd chain from hook, 2 sc, ch, turn (2)
2. 2 sc, ch, turn (2);
3. 1 sc, inc, ch, turn (3)
4. 2 sc, inc, ch, turn (4)
5. 4 sc, ch, turn (4)
6. 2 sc, dec, ch, turn (3);
7. 1 sc, dec, ch, turn (2);
8. ch, crochet around the ear in sc (7-8 sc, 2 sc along the bottom, 7-8 sc, sl st)
Cut the yarn and hide the tail between stitches.

Head
Inner part. (main color, 3.5 mm hook)
1. ch 2, in the 2nd chain from hook, 6 sc (6);
2. 6 inc (12);
3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18);
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24);
5. 24 sc (24);
6. (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30);
7-8. 30 sc, sl st (2 rounds).
Fasten off, pull the tail to the wrong side.
Head-Muzzle (4 mm hook, main color)
1. ch 2, in the 2nd chain from hook, 6 sc (6);
2. 6 inc (12);
3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18);
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24);
5. 24 sc (24);
6. (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30);
7-9. 30 sc (30);
Insert the eyes between rounds 7-8, 6 sc apart. Embroider the nose. Sew on the ears, 1-2 rounds down from the crown.
10. insert the inner part into the head, wrong side to wrong side, and crochet through both layers: 30 sc (30);
11. 30 sl st.
Leave a 15 cm tail for sewing.
Make a chain of 12-14 ch, leaving tails on both ends. Make a loop and thread it through the bottom of the muzzle, through edge sl st stitches. Sew on a button.

Join both halves at the back, stitching neatly through 4-5 sl st stitches. Make a decorative chain of ch stitches, thread it through several stitches at the back, and tie a bow.
