Amigurumi Boo Bunny crochet

Free Boo Bunny crochet tutorial by Marianna Malygina @mariannaimatvey.

With this pattern, you can crochet a large plush bunny with long ears. For this amigurumi project, you will need Wolans Bunny Baby plush yarn (or similar). On the muzzle, you need to make eye sculpting. A velvet plastic nose and safety eyes work great. Embroider the eyebrows with smooth thread.

Tail

1. 6 sc in MR (6)

Body

7. (5 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (42)
8. 42 sc (42)

The marker runs along the back; sew on the legs. I do not like when the legs are attached to the body in only one round (they look messy and wobble too much), so I join the legs into two belly rounds with the body. In the first round, I crochet through the last round of each leg along the inner side; in the second round, I crochet through the round where the legs are folded and joined in half.

Finish stuffing the head. Continue decreasing to close, cut yarn, fasten off, and hide the tail in the head.

Shape the Head

Amigurumi Boo Bunny crochet. Head shaping

Pull in the eye area using white cotton-blend YarnArt Jeans thread. Take the head and insert the threaded needle into the spot at the first round of the head, bring it out at "2", pass the thread to "3", and bring it out at "1". Tighten and tie a knot. Then do the sequence "1" "4" "5" "1". Tighten. Tie a knot. Next sequence: "1" "6" "7" "1". Tighten. Tie a knot. And the fourth sequence: "1" "8" "9" "1". Tighten. Tie a knot. With the same thread, make the whites of the eyes; with black thread, embroider the lashes (a regular short line, you can add one lash on the side) and the eyebrows. I tighten gently. Sometimes I secure the thread with Kristall glue so the whites and lashes do not shift over the eye. Break off the safety nose screw if it has one, then glue the nose in place.

Assemble the Body

Sew the head to the body with sewing thread in two rounds so the head does not wobble. It is better to stitch several times so the head does not tilt, because the ears are heavy. Sew on the tail. Sew on the ears with sewing thread above the eyebrows, about 4 to 5 rounds higher.
