Assembly
- Sew the muzzle onto the head at the height you like, stuffing it as you sew.
- Sew on the ears, first folding each one lengthwise and sewing the two edges together for about 1 cm from the bottom.
- Attach the eyes.
- Embroider the nose and eyebrows with embroidery floss.
- Add tinting if desired (dry pastel or blush).
Ruffle Collar
Work in turning rows.
Chain enough stitches as you go to fit around the neck, plus 1 turning chain.
1: sc in each chain with no increases, 3 ch, turn
2: 3 dc in each stitch, 3 ch, turn
3: 2 dc in each stitch, 1 ch, turn
4: sc in each stitch
Cut the yarn and fasten off. Sew the collar directly onto the toy.
Overalls
The overalls are crocheted in a spiral with single crochet stitches.
Chain enough stitches to fit around the toy.
Join with a slip stitch and continue working in the round in a spiral with sc.
Crochet to your desired length.
Sew the crotch area closed snugly between the legs.
Join the yarn to the beginning of the work (the foundation chain should face upward) and crochet a ribbed round. Work sc, but insert the hook not into the foundation chain, rather into the row below. In other words, work around the first round of the overalls. At the end of the round, cut the yarn and fasten off.
Bib
Mark the center front of the overalls and choose the width of the bib by counting out the required number of stitches equally to the right and left. Join the yarn. Work in turning rows to the desired bib height.
Once the bib is finished, crochet the first strap with the same yarn. The strap is made with regular chain stitches. When it reaches the needed length, join it to the back of the overalls with a slip stitch. Join the yarn at the second corner of the bib and repeat.
At the end, do not forget to sew the tail onto the bunny.
