Bear in a Dress

With this pattern, you can crochet a bear in a dress and shorts. For this amigurumi project, you need YarnArt Dolce plush yarn and YarnArt Jeans cotton blend yarn (you can use similar alternatives). The instructions include a pattern for the dress, shorts, and bow. All clothes are removable and are crocheted with cotton blend yarn. The bear is fully plush except for the muzzle.

Finished toy size is about 24 cm.

Next, crochet in the round for 3 rounds using double crochet stitches. Edging for sleeves and dress hem in back loops only: (sl st, ch) x repeat to the end.

On the back of the dress, make a chain-loop for a button.

Shorts

Fold in half and sew the middle (between the legs) through both sides, on the wrong side, with 4 dc.

There should be 25 stitches left on each leg opening.

Crochet 25 sc around each leg opening.

Edge the leg openings in back loops only: (sl st, ch) x 25

Bow

Crochet in turning rows.

1. chain 31 ch, starting in the second stitch from hook: 30 sc
2-8. turn, tch, 30 sc (7 rows)

Fold in half and sew the edges. Wrap yarn around the center of the bow.

Headband

Chain 66 ch, starting in the second stitch from hook: 65 sc. Sew it to the bow.

Bow on the Dress

Chain 30 ch, shape the bow, and sew it to the dress.
