Baby Penguins

Free Baby Penguins crochet tutorial by LuiLuh.Handmade.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small penguin. For amigurumi, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn will work. You can use this toy as a keychain for keys, a bag, or a backpack.
Materials and Tools
- Yarn (50 g / 120 m)
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- 7 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Tapestry needle for sewing parts
- Scissors

- dec - decrease

Beak
Using yellow yarn:
Rnd 1: 6 sc
Rnd 2: 12 sc
Rnd 3: 18 sc (1 sc, inc) x 6 times
Fold in half and sew. Sew to the head.
Head
Using gray yarn:
Rnd 1: 6 sc
Rnd 2: 12 sc
Rnd 3: 18 sc (1 sc, inc) x 6 times
Rnd 4: 1 sc, inc, (2, inc) x 5 times, 1 sc - 24 sc
Rnd 5-11: 24 sc
Rnd 12: 1 sc, dec, (2 sc, dec) x 5 times, 1 sc - 18 sc
Rnd 13: 12 sc (1 sc, dec) x 6 times
Insert the eyes between rounds 10 and 11, about 6 sc apart.
Rnd 14: 6 dec
Stuff the head. Finish off.
Body
Rnd 1: 6 sc
Rnd 2: 12 sc
Rnd 3: 18 sc (1 sc, inc) x 6 times
Rnd 4: 18 sc
Rnd 5: 12 sc (1 sc, dec) x 6 times
Rnd 6: 12 sc

Stuff the body, leave a tail for sewing.

Belly
Using white yarn:

Sew to the body.
Wings (2 pieces)
Using gray yarn:

Rnd 2-5: 5 sc
Tail
Rnd 1: 4 sc
Rnd 2: 6 sc (1 sc, inc) x 2 times
Rnd 3: 6 sc
Sew to the body.
Legs (2 pieces)
Using yellow yarn:
Rnd 1: 4 sc
Rnd 2: 6 sc (1 sc, inc) x 2 times
Rnd 3: 9 sc (2 sc, inc) x 3 times
Rnd 4-6: 9 sc
Lightly stuff. Sew to the body.
For a black penguin, crochet 2 white eye patches of 6 sc.
