Amigurumi Baby Cheep-Cheep crochet pattern

Free Baby Cheep-Cheep crochet tutorial by Irina Nikulina @niku_kla.

With this pattern, you can crochet a tiny chick in shell pants. For this amigurumi, you will need YarnArt Jeans cotton blend yarn and a 2.25 mm hook. The legs and wings are sewn on. The shell and body are crocheted as one piece. For the eyes, you will need white felt circles and plastic safety eyes.

The finished chick toy is about 7 cm tall.

Take orange yarn.

1. ch 10, then work back along the chain starting in the 2nd ch from hook: make the first toe, 3 sl st, ch 5 again, 4 sl st back along the chain for the second toe, 1 sl st to join with the first toe, ch 4, work back along the chain 3 sl st, 1 sl st to join with the second toe so there is no hole, 6 sl st to the end of the leg

Take yellow yarn.

1. ch 11, work back along the chain starting in the 2nd ch from hook, 10 sc, turn, then crochet each new row without a turning chain, skipping 1 sc at the start and not finishing 1 sc at the end
2. 8 sc, turn
3. 6 sc, turn
4. 4 sc, turn
5. 2 sc, continue crocheting along the wing: 5 sc, cut yarn, fasten off

Start with white yarn.

Cut two circles from felt, about 1 cm in diameter, insert 5 mm safety eyes into them, and attach them between rounds 11 and 12.
