Baby Bear

Free Baby bear crochet tutorial by Maria Zaikina @zaykina_toy.
With this pattern, you can crochet cute plush teddy bears. For this amigurumi project, you need any plush yarn. Yarn usage is about 1 skein (depends on your personal stitch tension, it is better to have one extra skein on hand). The head uses sculpting, and below you will find a detailed guide with photos. Embroider the noses, mouths, and eyebrows with cotton blend or cotton yarn.
Finished teddy bear size is about 18 cm.

Toy Assembly
- Sew the head to the body stitch-to-stitch. While sewing, add stuffing into the neck (so the head does not wobble).
- Sew the muzzle to the head.
- Make the sculpting (see photo below).
- Embroider the nose.
- Embroider the whites of the eyes in white, and embroider eyebrows and eyelashes in black/brown (I use Iris yarn).
- Sew the ears between head rounds 2-7 or 3-8 (whichever look you like more).
- Additionally sew the lower paws to the body (so they do not dangle).

Photo 1. Insert the needle into the neck and bring it out at point 1, then insert the needle into point 2 (the thread stays on top) and bring it out in the neck. Tighten the eye and make a knot. Repeat the same for the left eye.
Photo 2. Insert the needle into the neck and bring it out at point 1, then insert the needle into point 2 and bring it out in the neck. Tighten the eye and make a knot. Repeat the same for the left eye.
Photo 3. Insert the needle into the neck and bring it out at point 1, then insert the needle into point 2 (the thread lays over the top of the muzzle) and bring it out in the neck. Tighten the muzzle and make 2 knots. Hide the thread ends in the head.
