Baby Acorn

Free crochet tutorial for Baby Acorn by Tatiana Sokolova @tatsok_toys.
Using this pattern, you can crochet a little doll in an acorn costume from the Baby series. The doll's outfit consists of a hat with leaves and a removable collar.
The finished toy is about 10 cm tall, not including the hat.
Materials and Tools
- Alize Cotton Gold yarn, color 62 (light milky), for the body
- YarnArt Jeans yarn, color 48 (dark beige) for the hat and collar, colors 29 (lilac) and 52 (green) for the leaves
- A small amount of yarn for the forelock
- Safety eyes
- Crochet hooks 1.9 mm and 1.5 mm
- Toy stuffing
- Black Iris thread for sewing the eyes
- Sewing needle
- Scissors

Pull the opening closed and cut the yarn. Sew the arms on with a button-joint method. Attach bead eyes, embroider the nose with body-color yarn, optionally make a tiny one-stitch mouth, and add blush to the cheeks.
Forelock
Join hair-color yarn at the crown, ch 11, then starting in the second chain from the hook crochet 10 sc. Make two more strands the same way. Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Hat
YarnArt Jeans color 48, hook 1.9 mm.

Switch to a 1.5 mm hook and edge the hat with reverse single crochet (crab stitch). Fasten off and cut the yarn. Using YarnArt Jeans color 48 and a 1.5 mm hook, crochet a caterpillar cord about 3 cm long, bring the yarn tails to the inside, and tie 2 knots.
Leaves (make 2)
YarnArt Jeans colors 29 and 52, hook 1.9 mm. Crochet the leaves following the chart (see chart). Sew the leaves to the top of the hat.
